What's Holding You Back?
The difference between those who succeed and those who don't is not outside circumstances - there are people who are successful, who started out with all kinds of challenges... and there are those who aren't able to succeed despite having everything they need. The difference is the ability to gain control over your mind and your emotions - that determine your actions, decisions, choices, and therefore your results.
Think of your mind as a dog that hasn't yet learned to walk on a leash.
Your real estate investing success is the destination you're heading for, while walking the dog.
If you just follow the dog, wherever it wanders off to, you'll never get to that destination.
If you keep wrestling with the dog and getting frustrated with it - it will take you longer to get to where you want to go.
You need to train the dog to walk on the leash, by calmly and patiently correcting it, and keeping your focus on the end destination. Then, the walk will be less stressful, and you'll get there quicker, with less struggle.
And, as the dog learns to walk on the leash automatically, it will get quicker and easier to reach your destination.
Your mind is the same.
It may FEEL like your mind has a mind of its own, but the truth is, YOU are the "dog-walker" and you can train your mind to "walk to heel" rather than wrestling with it.
That will get you where you want to go, so much quicker and easier!
